Spring River Adventures
Rated as one of Arkansas’ best float streams, the scenic Spring River is fed by the icy waters of the Mammoth Spring. The river’s white water shoals and rushing falls challenge the canoeist's skills while the constant water flow from the spring makes it a good canoeing, kayaking, and rafting stream year-round. The South fork of the river is a mild, beautiful warm water stream with excellent scenery ideal for a leisurely float trip.

Fishing
The Spring River’s cold waters make it one of the top spots for rainbow trout in Arkansas. Fly-fishing is a popular sport year-round as anglers go after trophy fish. In the warmer stretches of the river, champion Bass, Walleye, and the occasional Tiger Muskie reward the wily fishermen.

Mammoth Spring National Park
25 minutes from Biggers Bluff
The centerpiece of the park is a huge spring, which gushes millions of gallons of water from underground sources. The park provides an overlook platform, as well as walking trails and walking bridges all the way around the spring.
In the summer, you can even cruise on paddleboats in the lake. The park has many features normal to state parks, such as picnic areas and a playground. But this park also includes a railroad depot musuem, a caboose, a dam and powerhouse tour, as well as a national fish hatchery next door.

Cedar Glades Golf Course
35 minutes from Biggers Bluff
Cedar Glade Golf Course is a very challenging par 3 golf course built on rolling terrain featuring several ponds and bridges. Numerous cedar trees can alter your shots, so accuracy is at a premium from off the tees. The signature hole is #3, a 92-yard, par 3, over a large pond, often called the big ball washer. This pond, an old quarry, also features a beautiful waterfall often used as a backdrop for weddings. Total Yards 1751, Par 54
